Tab Insertion Preference

Aptana Studio Editor uses tabs instead of spaces by default, when a users selects tab. You can choose to insert any given number of spaces in place of tab while editing.
1. Go to “Window->Preferences” (or “Aptana -> Preferences” if you are on a Mac).
2. Expand “Aptana”
3. Expand “Editors”
4. Under “Tab Insertion” select the alternate radio button “Use spaces”

Additionally, you can edit the number of spaces that are substituted for you tab. 4 are substituted by default. Just select *Edit” and modify the “Display tab width” field.
